This is a social event and OPEN HOUSE for the community to meet, mingle, and have a chance to see what life is like in Denver’s Uptown neighborhood. Members of the community and professionals are all welcome. We will be featuring a variety of wines and cheeses. Please RSVP so we can plan our refreshments but you are also welcome to drop in. Leonardo da Vinci: 500 Years of Genius

Although Leonardo da Vinci died in 1519, his enduring influence comes to life in the new exhibition, Leonardo da Vinci: 500 Years of Genius. You will see why the ultimate Renaissance man remains an inspiration for the ages! See nearly 70 of Leonardo’s machine inventions, built using detailed concepts from his famous codices (notebooks), including a helicopter, airplane, automobile, submarine, and military tank.

Independence Eve Concert and Fireworks at Civic Center Park
Location: Civic Center Park, Broadway and Colfax

The annual Independence Eve Celebration in Civic Center Park will feature a free patriotic concert, an innovative light show on the Denver City and County Building and a stunning fireworks finale. Lawn seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to bring blankets or low-rise concert/beach chairs. You're also welcome to bring your own picnic, though concessions will also be present on-site. Live music at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3 and will continue with the Colorado symphony and fireworks at dusk. Civic Center Park opens at 4 p.m., with food trucks and drinks.
